No vacation in Google . The Internet company’s engineers are working in full swing this season.After releasing a series of news on Google +, this time was the time for YouTube to gain a new feature: the YouTube Slam . The service acts as a sort of “battle videos”, where users choose and rank the winners.

In description on its official website, YouTube is the service as “the place to meet talented amateur singers, lovely clips and videos of the wildest YouTube.” There are already four contests going on right now at the Slam: the cutest video, video, funniest, most bizarre and best musical.

The Slam works like this: You choose the category, watch videos and peers vote for your favorite. The videos are rated according to user ratings, and after that, the best will get a spot on the leaderboard service.
