‘Mass Effect 3′ will receive extra content to ‘fix’ end of the game

Bioware says content can downloaded between July and September. 
‘Final should please the fans, “says co-founder.

 

The Bioware, the developer of RPG game Mass Effect 3 responded the demands of fans and will introduce from July to September for free download extra content which will “fix” or better, explain the end of the game. According to Ray Muzyka, co-founder, the package will bring additional scenes and an epilogue to better explain how the story ends.

The game, which was released on March 14 and has versions for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, shows the Earth being attacked by Reapers, cybernetic alien creatures, resulting in the destruction of cities. It is up to Commander Shepard, the hero of the trilogy, save the planet and mankind from extinction.

Thousands of fans of the series of  RPG game signed a online petition calling for the amendment of the final game, with some players even sending complaints to the Federal Trade Commission, a sort of Procon United States, claiming that Bioware did not meet expectations and made a false advertising with the title.

Muzyka said in March that the criticisms about the end of the game were “painful” and that the company would work on the new ending to the trilogy. On Thursday (5), the executive said in a statement that “since the launch, we had time to hear the opinion of our most ardent fans and we are responding. With ‘Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut’, I believe we will achieve a good balance to deliver the answers that players are looking at the same time maintaining the artistic vision of the team”.
