HP may launch servers that will work in cloud

According to The New York Times, HP will offer its own cloud service servers. The service should be ready to be released in the next two months.

According to the publication, the project foresees the creation of large data centers in the United States. The centers will be equipped exclusively with HP servers manufactured by the companies and made available for virtually through the cloud. The expectation of HP is to launch other small data centers in different parts of the world.

HP’s new platform has everything to go up against Windows Azure and Amazon. Apparently, according to the declaration of Zorawar Singh, senior vice president and general manager of cloud services from HP, the company’s main target is the Amazon.

“Amazon has the lead in this action. We have to build a platform with several third-party services. We will not start up Amazon’s customers by the horns, but we already have beta customers who see us as a great alternative. “

To date, no information about the release date and the values ??of the service were released by HP.
