The Google is working to develop a version of the browser Chrome with support for the interface tap Metro – present in Windows 8 . According to the website Mashable, a representative of the search giant said the goal is to offer, users an experience of fast and secure browsering on all platforms. However, there is still no date for when the browser will be available for Windows 8, which is optimized for PCs and tablets, and touch.
“We just finished creating a model of Chrome for the Metro, and develop a model for PC, increasing support for the touchscreen,” he said.
When Windows 8 tablets will start to appear in late 2012, consumers should be able to use the same browser in Windows 7, but redesigned for the Metro. Be on mobile devices or PCs in a Microsoft representative said, the applications are already being developed and should not take long to leave.
According to the site, Mozilla Firefox Firefox would also be developed to interface Metro. There is, however, a question regarding the positioning of Microsoft about it. After all, it may block, at least in tablets, access to browsers other than Internet Explorer.
