Dell Tablet will be released later this year

The rush of consumer preference for tablets will win over a competitor. The Dell Computer has announced it plans to launch its product by the end of 2012.

Several companies, like Intel and HP, have ventured into the manufacture of these devices, but could not really return until now. That is why the Dell is acting with caution, second vice president of commercial business, Steve Felice. She has said that special attention be given to the “environment” which has been subject to greater consumer interest. The operating system is not yet defined, but Windows 8 and Android have already been bandied about.

In 2010 Dell launched a tablet for business – the Streak. The device had Android and 5-inch touchscreen, and camera equipped with video conferencing and the ability to make and receive calls, such as a smartphone.

Now the company invests in the design of a tablet for the average consumer. “Join with more force in this market at the end of the year. That is, we are not ignoring their importance, but taking great care to prepare our entry,” said Felice told Reuters.

Dell, the company that broke new ground by allowing the buyer to ‘mount’ your own machine, has been losing market after the tablets have arisen, as many consumers have migrated from the PC and Notebook for this device. The success in selling the new product would come in good time to win back its customers and enable the recovery of its market position.
