The third game of the series tells the story of how Max left the cold nights in New York and got into hot streets of Sao Paulo, working as private security for a wealthy man, getting involved in another plot and having to save the life of a girl.

Max Payne 3 will use the RAGE engine, responsible for giving life to the game  GTA IV andRed Dead Redemption , but will feature new animation systems and aims to redefine the style of shooters in the third person, with refined methods of targeting and moving character .
